An historic moment as the water is turned on at the newly-restored Cleveland Pools and the main pool begins to fill, an exercise that will take 3 to 4 days.
Chair of CPTrust, Paul Simons said… “The main pool will be full of water next week and commissioning trials begin.
Cold water swimming events for competition winners, funders, volunteers and staff will start in August with preview visits organised for the local community and Bathwick Estate through the autumn including the national Heritage Open Days.
This is a very exciting time for a project that has been 18 years in the making.”
