Bath’s MP, Wera Hobhouse has extended the deadline for her competition to recognise those working in the field of violence against women and girls.

This could be anybody from a friend, refuge worker, doctor, family member, therapist, support worker, teacher or anybody you can think of that deserves to be recognised.

The new deadline is 17th January. The winner will be announced shortly afterward.

“My thanks to constituents who have nominated those working to tackle violence against women and girls. I’m extending nominations by two weeks to ensure that we don’t miss anyone deserving recognition for their contribution in this vitally important field.

We must shine a light on this issue so that we can work to stamp out violence against women and girls.”
