It’s not only the big West End shows being affected by Covid 19.
While Andrew Lloyd Webber decides the future of his new multi-million pound musical Cinderella, l hear a more local original show has fallen victim to the virus.
Producer, Mel Lawman writes:
‘I’m sad to say that due to so many covid cases within the cast and the increased threat of further isolation, we had to make the painful decision to cancel MISSRED at The Forum on August 7th.
We are going to record several of the songs at Real World Recording Studios on Saturday September 4th and then put on a Christmas MISSRED concert at the Forum of songs and some dances from the show (if all goes to plan for these.) so a couple of lights on the horizon.

We also have a slot at The Forum to try to stage a co-production with The Forum of MISSRED in 2023 but will need funds from the Arts council etc. next time.
It’s so sad that so many wonderful projects are not reaching their aim at present but I won’t give up on MISSRED and doing the show justice.’
