Bath Preservation Trust is launching a series of walking tours in the city.
According to their press release, ‘this walk will introduce the daily routines of the aristocracy, entertainments of the day and a background history to some of the finest Palladian architecture anywhere.
And Jane Austen fans can see where the iconic author lived and derived inspiration for her novels Persuasion and Northanger Abbey.‘
The BPT volunteer led tours are taking place on
- Tuesday 6 July
- Saturday 24 July
- Wednesday 4 August
- Sunday 22 August
- Tuesday 7 September
- Sunday 26 September
All the tours start at 2pm outside No 1 Royal Crescent and cost £7 per person. The tour is suitable for those aged 12+ and groups are limited to 10 people.
