Cards for good causes

It’s always nice to receive Christmas greetings from friends and family – through the post – but when you’ve written your list and go out to buy your cards, spare a thought for some local folk who’ve set up shop in the centre the of Bath to help raise funds for both local and national charities.

Jennifer Saunders writes:

‘I would like to know if you could help promote Cards for Good Causes who are now open in the centre of Bath selling cards from Charities representing 250 national and localCharities.

In the past 10 years we have raised over £40 million for U.K. charities and last year the Bath pop up shop (trading out of St Michaels Church) raised over £110,000 – much of which went to wonderful local charities.

In addition to cards we sell lovely Christmas related gifts, toys, Christmas wrapping paper and decorations. Our Advent calendars are always very popular along with Advent Candles.

Without the Bath Markets in their normal capacity this year we think we will be a very useful addition to town and are hopeful of our best year ever.

This year we are at 8-10 New Bond Street (previously the Radley shop) and we would appreciate any help you can give us.’

Consider it done Jennifer.
