Here’s today’s piece of good news. Despite the financial plight B&NES finds itself in – what with the pandemic decimating the tourist industry and the Council’s reduced income from business rates – there WILL be a Christmas tree in Abbey Church Yard.
How many of us will be able to gather around it remains to be seen, but this will be a December few will forget and maybe one where we can put a bit more effort into making it a special time for as many as possible without the overwhelming help of our capitalistic society.
Kind thoughts and deeds don’t always have to come via a shop or supermarket shelf.
