Lest we forget.

The pandemic is continually in our thoughts but we must not forget that this is the time of year which we set aside to remember those who have made the supreme sacrifice and do our bit to support servicemen and women who have done their duty and need our help to continue their lives.

‘Would you be so kind as to mention the Poppy Appeal in one of your posts?

The Royal British Legion is unable to collect donations on the street this year for obvious reasons.

Although this will impact the Poppy Appeal, there will be 1,000 pins and wooden crosses in the Abbey gift shop.

St Michael’s Church, opposite Waitrose will also have pins and crosses and there will be a collection point outside Morrisons.

It would be very helpful if you would be so kind as to mention this on Bath Newseum, and I am attaching a photo of the indefatigable Pearl Shaw and two of her consorts outside Morrisons this morning’
