Work has finally started on building the new skateboard facility at Alice Park in Larkhall. It follows years of campaigning – supported by local councillors – to get such a feature within one of the most popular community parks in Bath.
Its construction will hopefully take no more than six weeks to complete and will no doubt be welcomed by many – despite some opposition to its build.
I met Lambridge councillors Joanna Wright and Rob Appleyard at the site.
Not easy trying to conduct an interview in high winds – and with social distancing in mind – but l wanted to know how they felt now the job was underway.
