Not a fan of renaming streets, but the new Wilberforce Bridge sounds fine.

We should not use how the world is today to try to change historical decisions made in the past. If we try to obliterate history there will be no record for those in the future to learn from. On this basis naming the new bridge after William Wilberforce would be an excellent example on how we all have progressed through reflection and learning.

I agree with both the previous comments…keep what we have and learn from that – and with future developments name them as appropriate for our time..
