Here’s an opportunity to take an armchair stroll through some of Bath’s loveliest private gardens.
Ian Wilson – who is Chairman of the St Stephen’s Millennium Green Trust – writes to tell me:
‘I wondered if this is of any interest to the Bath Newseum. We had planned to have the Lansdown Open Gardens on June 14th which would have been our major community and fundraising event of the year.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to cancel the physical event but there is a Virtual Lansdown Open Gardens instead. I hope that you find it entertaining.’
You can link into the tour via https://www.millenniumgreen.org.uk/vlog/
There are six gardens to visit and you can finish on the Millennium Green with virtual tea and cake.
After all the wonderful weather that we have had recently all the garden are apparently looking spectacular. There are videos and photos of the gardens to take you on your tour. Admission is free but – l am told – any donations would be greatly appreciated!).
