In her next online public event on Wednesday evening, 27th May, from 6 – 7 pm, Bath MP Wera Hobhouse will speak with the Vice-Chancellor of Bath Spa University.
A palaeontologist by background, Professor Sue Rigby has been in charge at Bath Spa University since January 2018. After being an academic at Cambridge, Leicester and Edinburgh, she moved into senior management and has been applying her knowledge and skills around leadership and the learning environment ever since.
Bath’s two universities have a big impact on so many facets of our city. Wera will talk with Sue about the challenges and opportunities currently facing Universities in general and Bath Spa specifically, and how Universities can help with the regeneration of the region as lockdown starts to be lifted and in the longer term.
