This lockdown hasn’t stopped me chatting to the Director of Bath’s Holburne Museum, Chris Stephens about the future of the building and its collection.
Like every other museum and heritage centre in the city, it has had to close its doors – but unlike some of the others, it doesn’t receive any public funding.
The independent Grade 1 listed venue has obviously lost its regular income – just at a point when its Grayson Perry exhibition was breaking all records.
Bath Newseum tried out a Zoom conference call – for the very first time – to get the latest on the museum’s plight.
