On the street where they lived.

Once again, Bath’s internationally famous Mayor’s Guides will be offering a free 90 minute guided walk to celebrate International Women’s Day.

It’s on Saturday, March 7th and starts at 2.30. Meet up outside the entrance to the Roman Baths in Abbey Church Yard.

There is a follow-up walk – on the same subject – on March 10th and at the same time and place!

Joy Roberts, who is Chair of the Guides, told me:

‘We are talking about a wide variety of women with a link to Bath from all times.
Eleanor Coade, an 18th-century businesswoman, Women’s education, Sally Lunn, Washerwomen, the Wife of Bath and Queen Victoria……to name some.
Something for everyone.”
