Come sing in the Circus.

What a wonderful setting for festive carols – and with a brass band too.!

Every year the Salvation Army come to play under the trees on the Circus Green for the annual carol singing charity event which is organised by CARA – that’s the Circus Area Residents’  Association. but open to all.
But – says Bath Newseum fan, Rosemarie Tunstall, it’s an event open to all! Come along on Friday, December 20th at 7pm.

She tells me: “CARA members, neighbours, friends and visitors gather around and sing carols for about 45 minutes or so. A carol sheet is provided and a collection is taken for The Salvation Army, who do such outstanding work, especially at Christmas, supporting the aged, the lonely and families in need, funding food parcels and presents for children.
CARA is supported by The Circus restaurant, in Brock Street, who sets up a cash bar on the Green to sell mulled wine donating takings to to swell the collection, so that last year more than £1900 was raised for the Salvation Army from the approximately 650 people came along.
Please join us.  You will be very welcome. We would love to see you!”
