Congratulations to Gay Street resident Cindy Beadman who has been hustling the Council (B&NES) for some time to get a handrail put beside the steep steps that go from Gravel Walk down to the Pavilion Cafe in Victoria Park.
Bath Newseum regular Robin Draper tells me: “They were rather dangerous, particularly for disabled people.
Nice to put in a good word for the Council sometimes and be able to report that a decent handrail has now been put in. Cindy celebrated by getting a ribbon cut! “
